Playing Cupid

Create a sweet Valentine’s portrait of your baby!   Set the scene with a bit of draped re d velvet fabric and scattered paper hearts.  You can support your little one with pillow hidden under the fabric. Create a cupid costume with a cloth diaper and feathered wings.  Make your own wings or buy them online at:  http://www.owens-originals.com/fairytale%20props/wings.html  

To make your own wings you will need thin cardboard, ribbon, white paper, a glue stick, hot glue gun and white feathers.  Glue white paper to the cardboard with a glue stick.  Draw the wing shape you like and cut out all layers.  Punch two holes in the center of the wings. Thread ribbon through the holes. Use the hot glue gun to a dd feathers.  Use the ribbons as straps to go around baby’s arms.  (Be sure to never leave baby alone with the wings on!  This is a photo prop only, n ot safe to use as a plaything!)
