Destini first learned to bake at age seven in her
grandmother’s “baking & cooking boot camp.”
She was the only survivor!
She recently had a renewed interest in baking after
finding cakecentral.com. She
currently m
a
kes
cakes and cookies for friends and family but would love to turn
it into a business. As
a mother of two boys she has a few words of wisdom to share with
other moms. Her
advice for being a workin
g
mom and perusing her goals is to have a detailed schedule for
each job. She also
never works on major projects with her kids around.
As she was finishing a cake for a friend, her baby walked
by and tore a chunk off the cake!
His response was, “Oh for goodness sakes Mommy, it’s
just cake!”
